As Doug Williams from Gloucester puts it, "As long as you're in the first floor, the house is going to look like my wife and I are living a normal life and then until you get to the top of the steps on the second floor and you see this accumulation of memorabilia and baseball artifacts you're going to know that it's something a little different."
This is collection is very different and very special. It's more like a baseball museum inside a home.
There are baseball cards, photos, uniforms, contracts and a widely diverse collection of other artifacts. Almost everything in the collection seems to be signed.
After all these years collecting, Williams says, "It has been a labor of love and the excitement it has been to meet with certain players and to befriend them and to see the things that they have added to my collection."
