UVA's Hall reflects on time as a Cavalier

When I first walked into the University of Virginia lockeroom, everyone could sense a deflated mood. The top seeded Cavaliers suffered a historic loss to Maryland Baltimore County. The Retrievers became the first 16th seed to take down a #1 seed in NCAA Men's Tournament history after 135 tries.

Virginia Beach's, Devon Hall was one of three seniors who'd played their last game as Cavaliers. Despite the hurt of the loss, he says his time in Charlottesville will always be special. "It's been amazing. I've learned and I've grown. I've been able to mature as a player and as a man." Virginia finished the season with a impressive 31-3 record.
