The U.S. Open 9 Ball Championships meant everything to its late founder, Barry Behrman. He passed away back in April of this year, but his vision of having the world's best in billiards facing off continued with the finals Saturday night.

The 41st edition had defending champ, Kevin Cheng of Taiwan bolting out to an early 3-0 lead on 4-time champ, Shane Van Boening of the United States. The South Dakota native rallied back to get within 11-9 only to comeback to win his 5th overall title and 4th in the last 5 years.
