NORFOLK, Va. (WVEC) -- Traffic on Colley Avenue is returning to normal, after police earlier shut down several blocks in response to a "person in crisis."
Roadways were closed from the 3500 to 3800 blocks of Colley Avenue as police set up a staging area.
Police were able to make contact with the individual, and were able to safely take him into custody without further incident.
Rush hour commuters can expect some delays on Colley, but police say it should clear up shortly.

In addition to this incident, there was also a separate, unrelated traffic accident at Colley and 26th Street. That crash scene is also in the process of clearing up.
