NORFOLK, Va. (WVEC) -- Santa knows just how special and unique every child is.
But did you know that he also signs?
On Tuesday, Nov. 15, Santa stopped by the MacArthur Center in downtown Norfolk to make an early visit to children who are deaf or hard-of-hearing in the Hampton Roads community.
Santa sat inside the magnificent Ice Palace, in Center Court, as he conversed with kids in American Sign Language and asked what they wanted for Christmas.
Each child also got to enjoy snacks, face painting and a free photo with Santa to take home.
Special interpreters were on site all day today until 9 p.m. for assistance.
