NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WVEC) -- Police say a 35-year-old man from Hampton was injured when he was shot in the back of the leg by a pellet gun.
The victim suffered minor injuries and refused medical treatment.
The shooting happened around 4:40 p.m. Sunday on 25th Street and Hickory Avenue.
The victim described the suspects' vehicle as a small yellow car.
The female driver is described as a black woman appearing to be in her 20s with red tint in her hair. The passenger is described as a black male, also in his 20s wearing a white t-shirt.
