For most of their game against Millbrook, the Lake Taylor Titans more than held their own against the Pioneers and seemed to be destined to win the school's 4th state title. By the end, it was the Pioneers who would win 53-46 their 4th championship.
The young Titans (23-5) were led by freshman, Ja’Naiya Quinerly who had a team high 22 points. Lake Taylor couldn't hold a seven point lead with under 5:00 minutes left. They went scoreless for eight straight possessions while Millbrook went on a 12-1 run.
