Nansemond River boys trust the process

The boy's side of Nansemond River track and field have long been in the shadow of their dominant girls. This indoor season, the boys 4x200 meter relay team set out to change that, but it wasn't easy.

First they had to make sure all 4 members were up to the challenge, pushing each other, and turning their weakest link into an advantage. Then they had to overcome a race day ankle sprain. Lucky for them, their program is based all around "trusting the process". A process that prioritizes chemistry, hard work and sacrifice.

These ideals created a brotherhood, one that became a national champion with the 10th fastest time ever in the United States.
