Suffolk City Council approves permit for brewery

SUFFOLK, VA. (WVEC) - City Council in Suffolk unanimously approved a permit that will allow a brewery to set up shop.

That's according to our partners at The Virginian-Pilot.

Brick & Mortar Brewing Company will move into a vacant building in downtown on East Washington Street. According to the company's website, the brewery is veteran-owned and operated.

They say if all goes to plan, the brewery could be open by next March.
