Crews rescue individual trapped in car after Va. Beach accident

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WVEC) -- One person was injured and pulled from a car after an accident in Virginia Beach. 

On Saturday at 7:30 p.m. the Virginia Beach Fire Department, Police and EMS responded to a single vehicle crash on the 4400 block of Indiana River Road.

One person was trapped inside the vehicle and needed to be extracted. Once pulled from the car, the individual was transferred to a local hospital. 

The person's condition is unknown.

Police are investigating the incident and no further information was released.
