NORFOLK, Va. (WVEC) -- Police are investigating after a 14-year-old boy was found shot on W. 29th Street in Norfolk on Sunday.
Dispatchers received multiple calls reporting a possible gunshot victim near the intersection of W. 29th Street and Gosnold Avenue shortly before 12:30 p.m., according to police.
Officers arrived to find a 14-year-old boy suffering from a gunshot wound. The teen was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Police say an investigation suggests the shooting happened at a separate location. The teen was then dropped off at W. 29th Street and Gosnold Avenue where he was found by police and paramedics.
There is no word on a suspect or motive at this time.
