NORFOLK, Va. (WVEC) -- Police have arrested a man in connection to Thursday night's deadly hit-and-run on Military Highway in Norfolk.
According to police dispatch, a call came in around 9:30 p.m. of a motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian at 100 South Military Highway.
The pedestrian, 27-year-old Michael C. Flowers, was pronounced dead at the scene by medics, and the suspect vehicle, a gold Audi A6, fled from the area before first responders arrived.
Police searched the area, and located the Audi parked in the 5500 block of Brookeville Road.
Following an investigation, police charged 57-year-old Lloyd E. Vines with felony hit-and-run and driving while license suspended.
