HAMPTON, Va. (WVEC) -- One person is in the hospital following a shooting in Hampton on Monday morning.
Dispatchers tell us it happened on Johnquil Lane around 5:20 a.m. That's not far from the intersection of King Street and Mercury Boulevard.
Arriving officers found a 20-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to a local hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Police are still investigating a motive behind the shooting. No suspect information is available at this time.
