Suspect identified in Williamsburg armed robbery

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WVEC) -- Williamsburg Police identified one of the suspects involved in an armed robbery on Second Street.

On Thursday around 5:50 p.m., Police responded to a robbery at the McDonald's located in the 300 block of Second Street. 

The victim, an employee, claimed he was out by the dumpster when a black sedan drove up with two black men inside. One of the suspects was armed.

The suspect took the victim's wallet and fled the scene.

Williamsburg Police have obtained warrants charging the suspect with Robbery, Abduction, Strangulation, Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony and Possession of a Concealed Weapon.

The name of the suspect is being withheld until he is safely apprehended and the second suspect is identified.
