Three arrested after shots fired and chase in NC

CAMDEN COUNTY, NC (WVEC) --  Gunfire rings out as a vehicle chases down another! Now, three people are behind bars.

According to the Camden County Sheriff's Office, this happened Wednesday around 6:30 pm in the Shiloh area of the county.

Deputies tell us one vehicle chased the other, shooting at the driver in the other car. 

Fortunately, no one got hurt, but three men have been arrested.

Arrested are:

  • 48-year-old Terry Wayne Rose, charged with Felony Assault with intent to Kill, Felony Speeding to Elude Arrest, Misdemeanor Impersonating a Law Enforcement Officer and Misdemeanor Resist, Delay and Obstruct a Law Enforcement Officer. A secured bond was set at $250,000 and  he was transported to Albemarle District Jail.
  • 23-year-old Daquan Tyrie Whidbee, charged with Felony Conspiracy to Sell and Deliver Schedule IV Controlled Substance to wit: Xanax. A secured bond was set at $5,000. He was released on bond.
  • 24-year-old Tre’shon Shabazz Walker, charged with Felony Conspiracy to Sell and Deliver Schedule IV Controlled Substance and Felony Possession of Cocaine. A secured bond was set at $15,000. He was transported to Albemarle District Jail.

Deputies say the incident is still under investigation.
