VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WVEC) -- A man has been arrested for possessing child pornography in Virginia Beach.

A spokesperson for the Commonwealth's Attorney's Office says 35-year-old Andrew Davis is charged with five counts of possessing child pornography.

A judge granted $10,000 bond for Davis, but the sheriff's office says he has not gotten out of jail yet. He told 13News Now he's still unsure whether he will pay the bond.

Davis said he has been in the Navy for 16 years and is still active-duty. A Commonwealth's Attorney's Office spokesperson, as well as Davis himself, told 13News Now that he is an acoustics analyst for the Navy. He has reportedly forfeited his computer access, will be confined to a naval base, and is not allowed to leave the state.

13News Now asked Davis if he had been advertising his child porn, which he responded with, "No comment."

However, he said he's unsure if the military knows about the charges at this time.

His next court date is December 16.
