NORFOLK, Va. (WVEC) --- It’s more than a mile trek from Ghent to downtown Norfolk.
Todd McLaughlin made the walk Saturday night with his hands full.
“We’re going to be playing some games tonight and have a few drinks,” said McLaughlin.
He braved the sub-freezing temperatures and six inches of snow for a weekly tradition with his friends.
McLaughlin, along with his buddies Scott Robinett and Adam Massie weren’t going to let snow get in the way of poker night.
“We needed to relax and hang out after some long days at work,” said Massie.
“The snow is a lot of fun today, but I prefer to be inside in the warmth,” said Robinett.
