Donald Trump Jr. campaigns with GOP candidate in Chesapeake

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WVEC) -- The eldest son of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is trying to drum up support for a local Congressional candidate.

Donald Trump Jr. will speak at a campaign rally in Chesapeake on Sunday afternoon, on behalf of Marty Williams. Williams, who is currently the Chesapeake Planning Commission chairman, is running for Virginia's Third Congressional District against Democratic incumbent Bobby Scott.

The event is open to the public, and begins at 2:30 p.m. at the the Quad-City Trump Headquarters, located at 4425 Portsmouth Boulevard.
