Multiple car break-ins lead to three arrests in Chesapeake

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WVEC) -- Three people are facing charges after police found multiple vehicles had items stolen from them Friday in Chesapeake.

Around 12:54 a.m., officers went to the area of Johnstown Road and Johnstown Crescent to investigate a report of a suspicious person. While on the scene, officers noticed multiple vehicles had been entered and items had been stolen.

Shortly after, officers checked the area of Williamsburg Drive and Battlefield Boulevard for the potential suspects. According to police, three suspects were seen tampering with cars.

A foot pursuit began and all three suspects were taken into custody.

Police say the suspects are 18-year-old Anthony Poff, 21-year-old Travonte Warren and an unidentified minor.

All suspects will be charged with multiple larcenies.
