Hampton Police investigating early morning 7-Eleven robbery

HAMPTON, Va. (WVEC) -- Hampton Police are investigating a 7-Eleven convenience store robbery. 

Police say the robbery happened just before 4 a.m. on November 28 in the store located in the 2700 block of North Armistead Avenue. 

A suspect allegedly walked into the business, showed a gun and demanded money and cigarettes. 

Police say after the suspect got cash and cigarettes, he ran away. 

The suspect is described as a black male, light-skin tone, 6'1, thin build, last seen wearing a black ski mask, black long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans, brown boots and black gloves.

No one was injured during the incident.
