HAMPTON, Va. (WVEC) -- Police need the public's help identifying a woman they say stabbed a man in Hampton.
Officers were called out to a home in the 100 block of Rip Rap Road around 12:30 Wednesday morning. Inside the home, police found a man with multiple stab wounds. The man declined to be transported to the hospital by medics, but instead drove himself to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Police say the man and woman were inside the home when the woman began assaulting the man and stabbed him twice. She then fled in a white vehicle.
The description of the suspect is vague, with police describing her as a black female in her early 20s.
