Skimming to Scam: Police said pair tried to target ATM customers at credit union

HAMPTON, Va. (WVEC) -- Hampton Police Division hopes someone will recognize two men who are accused of putting a skimming device inside an ATM.

Officers said surveillance footage showed the men at the BayPort Credit Union located at 1168 Big Bethel Rd.

Police said through social media that someone who was there picked up on the attempt to "scam customers." As a result, no one became a victim.

The police division shared a picture of the men, and asked anyone who recognizes them to call 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or send them a private message on social media.
