Two arrested for robbery in Hampton

HAMPTON, Va. (WVEC) -- Police say two men are facing charges following a robbery in Hampton.

Shortly after 4 p.m. on Tuesday, police received a call of a robbery that happened at Darling Stadium. The victim told officers he had been sitting in a vehicle when he was approached by two suspects who displayed a firearm and demanded property.

After robbing the victim, they then fled on foot.

Officers located both suspects a short time later and both were apprehended after a brief foot pursuit.

19-year-old Jordan Ezekiel Wilson is charged with one count of robbery, one count of use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

19-year-old Tyrone Lamont Blackmon is charged with one count of robbery and one count of use of a firearm in commission of a felony.

Both men are in custody at the Hampton City Jail.
