NEWPORT NEWS (WVEC) -- More than 85 vendors will be part of the Ninth Annual Community Empowerment Fair which helps put people in touch with resources that can help them with everything from finances to safety.

Those who attend the event will have an opportunity to have general health questions answered by professionals as well as get tips about summertime health.
