ADP office opening in Norfolk this week, hundreds of jobs still need to be filled

NORFOLK, Va. (WVEC) -- The highly anticipated new ADP facility is set to open this week. 

Governor Terry McAuliffe announced that the company will be opening up shop in Norfolk back in March.

The new location is expected to bring 1,800 jobs to the city. 

The office will initially be staffed by 300 associates. Eventually, 1,500 others will be hired.

Norfolk Mayor Kenny Alexander and Virginia Secretary of Commerce and Trade Todd Haymore are expected to attend the grand opening on December 2nd.
