NORFOLK, Va. (WVEC) -- People craving a burger and shake may have a new destination for fulfilling their cravings.
Cook Out wants to open a restaurant at the corner of East Little Creek Road and Orchid Avenue in the Crossroads area.
The fast food chain is looking to convert the site of an old business at the intersection. It also intends to include an adjacent residential property in its plan and is asking Norfolk for rezoning permission.
Cook Out needs a special exception permit from the city in order to operate the restaurants proposed drive-thru windows. There would be two.
Cook Out already has several locations in Hampton Roads, including two in Norfolk.
