Second synagogue burglary suspect arrested

NORFOLK, Va. (WVEC) -- The second suspect who was caught on surveillance video breaking into and trashing a synagogue earlier this month has turned himself in.

35-year-old Timothy Evans was arrested and charged with one count each of petit larceny and trespassing.

Evans, along with a woman later identified as 29-year-old Morghan Rogers, allegedly broke into B'nai Israel Congregation on the night of November 14, where they drank and smoked. Police said there was also some vandalism and trashing inside the building.

Rogers turned herself in on November 20 after surveillance images of herself and Evans appeared on the news.
