Police searching for suspect in Wells Fargo robbery

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WVEC) -- Detectives are searching for a suspect who robbed a Wells Fargo Bank in Portsmouth on Friday.

Police tweeted that the incident happened at the bank located in the 2400 block of Airline Boulevard. Dispatchers received a call reporting the robbery at 9:06 a.m.

No injuries were reported, according to Portsmouth Police.

Detectives say the suspect in the robbery is described as a black male, 6'1", having a slim build and large eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie.
