Missing, endangered Suffolk woman found safe

UPDATE: Suffolk Police say Lynelle Denise Martin has been found safe, and she has been reunited with her family.

SUFFOLK, Va. (WVEC) -- Investigators are asking for help finding a missing woman who they believe is endangered. 

According to the Suffolk Police Department, 21-year-old Lynnelle Denise Martin was reported missing on November 8th.

Police say Martin has a diminished mental capacity and therefore is considered endangered. She is described to be white, 5;09: and approximately 105 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. 

Family members say they woke up around 5:30 a.m. to find that she had left their house that's located on 2100 block of Brians Lane in the Brewer's Meadows neighborhood. 

Martin was spotted shortly after 6 a.m. at the Walmart located in the 1200 block of North Main Street. She was said to be barefoot and accompanied by an unknown adult male. The pair left the Walmart at approximately 8:20 a.m.

The man was described as approximately 6 feet tall, wearing a long-sleeved camouflage shirt with the sleeves rolled up, black hat with sunglasses on top, blue jeans and black sneakers.

Martin was wearing a pink short sleeved shirt, green camouflage pajama bottoms, and then later black sneakers with white soles and either orange or pink lacings, and a black hoodie with a Ghostbusters logo.

Anyone with information about where Martin might be is asked to call 911 or to call your local police department.
