Suffolk police investigating 7-Eleven robbery

SUFFOLK, Va. (WVEC) -- Detectives are looking for a man accused of robbing a 7-Eleven just before midnight on Sunday. 

Police arrived at the 7-Eleven in the 1100 block of Portsmouth Boulevard around 11:35 p.m. 

Police say a man walked into the business, showed a handgun and demanded money. 

After the clerk complied, the suspect ran away. 

Police say the suspect is a black male, wearing a camo-colored face mask, dark-colored knit cap without a brim, black jacket, gray or dark blue colored pants, and white Nike shoes. 

No one was injured during the armed robbery.
