Former TCC student accused of groping women on campus arrested

Four women said a student who used to attend Tidewater Community College groped them on the school's campus location in Virginia Beach.

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WVEC) -- Police arrested a former Tidewater Community College student Thursday and charged him with two counts of Assault and Battery.

Officers took Tyson Lee Washington, 18, of the 5000 block of Brad Drive into custody. He was released on bond.

The arrest came after officials at Tidewater Community College alerted police that a student "no longer enrolled" at the Virginia Beach campus allegedly groped four women.

The school received reports that the incidents took place during the course of a few days at the end of April and the beginning of May.

The women all identified Washington as the person who touched them.
