Two killed in crash on I-264 in Virginia Beach

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WVEC) -- Two people were killed in an accident on Interstate 264 near Birdneck Road on Wednesday morning.

Westbound lanes of I-264 near Birdneck Road are back open after a fatal accident shut down the roadway for hours on Wednesday morning.

Virginia State Police say 61-year-old Michael Terance Goldstone was killed when his Ford Taurus came across the median and into oncoming traffic on westbound I-264. Goldstone’s vehicle struck a Toyota Corolla driven by 53-year-old Darlene Varney.

Goldstone’s car then struck a green Suzuki Sidekick driven by 23-year-old Aaron Miles Collier. Both Goldstone and Collier died at the scene.
