VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WVEC) -- Police are searching for the person who shot a man in Virginia Beach Thursday evening.
Police were in the 5800 block of Newtown Arch shortly after 11 p.m. when they heard gunfire in the area. Officers located a man nearby, suffering from a gunshot wound. The officers applied a tournequet to the victim to help stop the bleeding.
He was taken to a local hospital. The extent of his injuries are not known, and no suspects have been identified at this time.
