Police: Va. Beach man shot during home invasion

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WVEC) -- Virginia Beach Police are searching for two suspects in a home invasion and shooting investigation. 

Officers were alerted to the robbery of a home located in the 4900 block of Raycraft Drive around 10:30 p.m. on December 11. 

Police say two men broke into the house and held the occupants at gunpoint as they demanded money. 

During this time, a man who lived at the house was shot. 

Police say this does not appear to be a random act of violence. 

The first suspect is described to be a black male, 5'11-6'2, 25-30- years old, wearing all black clothing with a face mask.  He was armed with a handgun.

The second suspect is described to be a black or Asian male, short and heavy in stature, wearing all black and armed with a handgun.
