School bus, SUV collide in Virginia Beach; no one hurt

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WVEC) -- No students were hurt after a bus and SUV collided Monday afternoon.

Emergency dispatchers received a call about the wreck at Lynnhaven Parkway and Handcross Way around 2:30 p.m.

Jeff Barba, spokesman for Virginia Beach City Public Schools, told 13News Now the bus was carrying students from Salem High School when the bus and a Chevrolet Suburban crashed. He said no on the bus was injured. Neither was the driver of the SUV.

Another bus picked up the students to take them home.
