Service restored after water main break in Virginia Beach

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WVEC) -- Water has been restored to residents in a Virginia Beach neighborhood after there was a water main break early this morning. 

The Department of Public Utilities told 13News Now they were made aware of the situation around 5:30 a.m. 

They were notified that water was restored to the 33 impacted residents around 10:45 a.m. 

The break happened at the intersection of Mirror Lake and Olympic Drive, affecting people in the Lake Placid neighborhood. 

There is still no word on what caused the break.
