Suspects break into cars, commit fraud in Virginia Beach

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WVEC) -- Police are looking for suspects accused of smashing car windows, stealing items and then using stolen credit cards to make purchases nearby on Oct. 31.

The first incident happened in the 1600 block of Independence Blvd. 

The other one happened in the 4100 block of First Court. 

The suspects were seen at the Kroger located at 975 Providence road where they bought over $2,000 worth of items with credit cards stolen from the vehicles. 

They also attempted to get money by using stolen checks.
