Va. Beach students donate pet oxygen masks fire rescue squad

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WVEC) -- Every Kempsville Volunteer Rescue Squad vehicle will now be equipped with life saving pet oxygen masks thanks to several area students.

Seven students from the Kempsville High School Animal Club collected money to purchase pet oxygen masks after hearing about a local cat who was saved in May.

Invisible Fence Brand of Hampton Roads, the manufacturer, donated additional devices.

The students will deliver the pet oxygen masks to the Kempsville Volunteer Rescue Squad on Wednesday.
