Mama Summit 2016 to advocate for children's health

Regina Mobley sat down with Tara Pascarosa about the Mama Summit.

RICHMOND, Va. (WVEC) -- Moms, dads, grandparents and children from across the Commonwealth will travel to Richmond on Wednesday to advocate for children's health.

Mama Summit 2016 is organized by Moms Clean Air Force, a group of moms and dads united against air pollution.

The group plans to meet with state legislators about improving air quality for children, sea level rises and toxins.

"Please join us as we tell our state leaders that parents are paying attention to their actions," organizers said on their website. "It's time we unite for strong policies that protect the health and welfare of our families."
