Where: off the Avalon Pier, 2111 Virginia Dare Trail (Beach Road) Milepost 6. Fireworks can be viewed from all areas of the Kill Devil Hills

Manteo Waterfront 4th of July Celebration

Where: Downtown Manteo Waterfront, Manteo NC 27954

When: Festivities begin at 3 p.m., fireworks display over the sound at night

Where: Outdoor Pavilion at Roanoke Island Festival Park

When: 208th Army Band beginning at 8 p.m., Fireworks start after dark

Nags Head Fishing Pier

When: July 4th. Rain date is July 5th

Fireworks start at 9:25 p.m.

25th Annual Festival of Fireworks

Where: Historic Corolla Park, 1160 Village Lane, Corolla NC

When: Event starts at noon, music starts at 5 p.m. and fireworks display at dusk.
