YORK CO., (WVEC) -- Firefighters from several fire departments helped put out a house fire on Wednesday morning.
Just after 8 a.m., crews from the York County Department of Fire and Life Safety were dispatched to the 700 block of Queensbury Lane for a report of a house fire.
When the firefighters arrived, they found a two-story house engulfed in flames.
Officials say the people who were inside the home at the time the fire started were able to get out safely.
James City County Fire Department and the Williamsburg Fire Department helped put out the fire. It took ten minutes to get it under control.
York-Poquoson Sheriff's Office deputies were also on the scene.
Officials are now figuring out what sparked the fire.
