NORFOLK, Va. (WVEC) -- TSA officers stopped a man from bringing a loaded handgun in a carry-on bag at a Norfolk International Airport checkpoint on Thursday.
The man, a resident of Virginia Beach, was stopped by TSA officers who spotted the .45 caliber handgun loaded with six bullets as it was going through the checkpoint x-ray machine.
TSA officers contacted the Norfolk Airport Authority Police.
This is the fourth gun that has been found at one of the airport's checkpoints in 2017.
