Va. Lottery officials alerting players to problem with Mega Millions

RICHMOND, Va. (WVEC) -- An error occurred with certain tickets purchased before the Mega Millions game on Tuesday, Oct. 31.

A small number of tickets purchased between 10:45 and 11:51 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 27 were produced incorrectly. 

Lottery officials say all Mega Millions tickets sold during that time will be honored.

The price of the ticket and the price of a replacement ticket will be refunded to the players.

Any prizes won by the original ticket will be honored by the Lottery.

Refunds and prize payments cannot be processed at Lottery retailers.
