PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. (WVEC) -- A bridge has been dedicated in memory of a Virginia State Trooper from Suffolk who was killed in a car crash.

The bridge over Interstate 95 in Prince George County will be renamed in honor of Nathan-Michael W. Smith.

The 27-year-old trooper was killed last year when his patrol car went off the side of the road. He was responding to an emergency call when it happened.
