Woman sexually assaulted after crash

STAFFORD COUNTY, VA (WUSA9) - Deputies in Northern Virginia are searching for a man who they say dragged a woman out of her vehicle after she got into a wreck and sexually assaulted her.

It happened around 2:45 to 3:15 a.m. Monday along Kings Highway in Stafford County.

The Stafford Sheriff's Office says the man ran his SUV into the woman's car, then yanked her out and forced her into the ditch, where he sexually assaulted her for over two hours.

The suspect then left the area in his vehicle and the victim returned to her vehicle and called 911.

The man is described as a Hispanic man around 30 years old, 5'8" to 5'9", weighing around 170 to 180 pounds. He has black hair and a short black beard. He was wearing light blue jeans and a sleeveless white tank top under an orange, blue and white plaid long sleeved shirt. Police say he spoke Spanish and broken English.

If you recognize the man, your anonymous tip could be worth a cash reward. Contact the Stafford County sheriff's office with any information.
