Two people displaced after a fire breaks out inside a Williamsburg home

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WVEC) Two people are left without a home after a fire started inside their house. 

Firefighters were called out to the home located on Thomas Nelson Lane just after 8 p.m. on Tuesday night. 

James City County, York County and Camp Perry Fire units assisted. 

When first responders arrived, they found heavy fire coming from the rear of the house. It took 15 minutes to put out. 

The home was left with heavy damage to an attached room and smoke and water damage throughout. 

No one was injured during the fire. The cause is under investigation.
