WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WVEC) -- The Marshall Wythe Law school building at the College of William & Mary was evacuated Wednesday morning, due to reports of a fire.
Investigators say the fire began shortly before 11 a.m. in a small office, which touched off the sprinkler system and activated the building's fire alarms.
The sprinkler system put the fire out, limiting the smoke and water damage. No injuries are reported.
The law school is closed until 1:30 p.m. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
