Williamsburg, Va. (WVEC) – The Williamsburg Police Department is asking for the public’s to find two people they said stole memory supplements from a CVS store.
On November 9, 2017 around 8:55 pm police said two men captured by security cameras entered the CVS store located in the 1600 block of Richmond Road.
Major Greg Riley said the men stole more the $500 worth of over the counter memory supplements. He also said this is the first time the department has dealt with this type of theft.
“Normally you see people either trying to take drugs from the pharmacy itself or you see them trying to get the drugs with pseudoephedrine so that they can use that to make other drugs,” said Riley
Major Riley told 13News Now he did not know what the men intended to do with the pills but assumed they would try to sell them on the street like at a flea market. He warned people about buying drugs or supplements from people off the street.
“I'd be cautious buying anything medication or anything like that at a flea market or second-hand place as opposed to buying it in the pharmacy where you know it hasn’t been tampered with or altered,” said Riley.
If you have any information regarding the men pictured in the security photos, please contact the Williamsburg Police directly at 757-220-2331 or anonymously at 1-888-Lock-U-Up.
