NORFOLK, Va. (WVEC) -- As the USNS Comfort returns to Naval Station Norfolk from aiding in hurricane relief in Puerto Rico, it brought back one new addition to its crew!
The ship's Facebook page posted dozens of photos taken over the last couple of months while its crew was in Puerto Rico, one of which shows a new mom holding her newborn baby girl!
According to the post, the infant was the first baby born on the Comfort since 2010.
The ship returned to its homeport on Monday, Nov. 20 after serving around San Juan, Puerto Rico following the devastation the territory suffered from Hurricane Maria.
