Norfolk head-on crash kills two

Drivers of two cars have been killed about a head-on accident in Norfolk on East Little Creek Road early Wednesday morning.

NORFOLK, Va. (WVEC) -- Two people died after a head-on collision in Norfolk.

Just after 1 a.m. on Wednesday, a crash occurred at the 2900 block of E. Little Creek Road near Nancy Drive.

According to police, a sliver Chrysler 200 was driving in the wrong direction and struck a black Hyundai Sonata head-on.

The 39-year-old female Chrysler driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 26-year-old Hyundai driver was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital where he died.

No one else was in either car. The identities of those involved have not been released.
